| Canva Pro Review: Is It Expensive? |
If you're having trouble deciding whether it's worth upgrading to Canva Pro, this review should help you make up your mind. It will accomplish this by highlighting the pros and cons. Whether you own a company, Facebook page, YouTube channel, or just want to bring your social media presence to life, Canva offers an easy way to get more creative. Even your grandparents can create a wicked design with the many drag-and-drop design templates that are so easy to use. The amazing feature of Canva is that it is free to use and very easy to get started. But you'll quickly discover that your options are limited to free layouts, graphics, and photos. Are the extra benefits of Canva Pro worth the price?
Upgrading to Canva Pro is a smart move if you're looking for an easy-to-use, all-in-one design solution. It has a lot to offer, including 100GB of cloud storage, brand identity kits, bespoke template possibilities and access to premium stock image collections. Even if you have no prior design knowledge, Canva Pro has all the resources you need to create beautiful graphic designs.
But I didn't always sit in the Canva Pro camp. To be honest, it took me a long time to change my mind and accept the upgrade. I can't believe I didn't update as soon as I looked back. You'll see in this Canva Pro review why I, along with a ton of other people, decided to upgrade and why it would be a smart move for you.
What is Canva?
Using the web-based design software Canva, even novice designers can create professional-caliber graphics in minutes. You can quickly design stunning graphics for your company, website, or social media with hundreds of pre-made drag and drop themes at your disposal.
Banners, Pinterest pins, company logos, video thumbnails, blog infographics and more can be created using Canva. To be more specific, I would argue that when it comes to designing for both personal and corporate purposes, there is nothing more user-friendly and affordable.
Canva simplifies the process and reduces the learning curve compared to other design programs like Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator. With its simple, intuitive design, Canva is easy to learn in just minutes, saving you the time and effort of mastering a specialized design tool.
The best part is that there are no requirements and you can start using Canva for free for life. You can even access hundreds of unique templates, stock images, graphics, text, textures and more in the free version!
Nevertheless, purchasing the Pro edition of Canva is well worth the money if you want to make the most of it. It's been a game-changing improvement for my business's design requirements, with no limits and access to a wider collection of images, graphics, and other materials.
Is It Worth Paying For Canva?
You may access more stock photos, graphic components, design templates, and other resources to make designing easier by subscribing to Canva. Additionally, you get 100GB of storage and an infinite number of folders, which simplify the process of organizing and storing all of your creations. Canva Pro has so many extra features to make your process more efficient that it is well worth the price.
Like you, I wasn't entirely persuaded that Canva Pro would give much more when I first started using Canva. You can still find a ton of amazing photos, themes, and graphic components in Canva's free version—you just have to search for them. It's more difficult to locate the ideal element for your design because so many elements are restricted to Canva free users.
– Your Options Are Limitless
The possibilities are endless!
The main benefit I noticed right away after upgrading was having limitless alternatives. All of the templates, graphics, and images that I saw were available for use. It felt as though I had the freedom to design without any restrictions after the brakes were removed.
Now, you probably have a style in mind when you create anything with Canva. Your unique look is shaped by the colors you choose, the typefaces you use, the template styles, and more. Maintaining a consistent theme is essential for developing brand identification in your online presence, especially when designing for a company.
For every new design on Canva, you have to laboriously search for the same colors, template styles, and other elements.
What a massive (and obnoxious) waste of time.
– Easier To Maintain A Consistent Style
Create brand identity kits with Canva Pro to simplify your life. Having a kit that's readily available in every design can help you maintain your style consistency whether you're developing for a client or yourself. You can quickly create an on-brand design if all of your chosen fonts and colors are already set out.
Brand identity kits are invaluable, particularly when working in mass on projects like creating Pinterest Pins or Instagram Stories.
– More Cloud Storage & Better Organization Options
The third and last clear benefit of Canva Pro is that it offers superior organizing choices along with extra storage. You only get 5GB of cloud storage with 2 folders to manage everything with the Canva free edition.
On the other side, Canva Pro offers limitless folders and 100GB of online storage.
Instead of going over your allotted 5GB, Canva Pro offers a storage limit that will be difficult to surpass. Even better, you can easily create a folder system that will help you keep all of your designs accessible and well-organized.
What is the difference between Canva vs. Canva Pro?
Canva Pro offers much more than just the three basic benefits you read about in the previous section. Let's use some tables to facilitate comparison.
